The aluminium omega profile can always be glued, regardless of the weather. With wooden substructures, gluing is often problematic; wood stays wet for a long time and therefore gluing doesn't always work. Choose aluminium, then you always work with a dry profile that is immediately ready for gluing. Priming is not required.
