Omega profiles for roof and façade constructions

Omega profiles play a key role in creating stable and durable roof and façade constructions. With our omega profiles, we offer a suitable solution for every application – from lightweight interior structures to heavily loaded building envelopes.

An omega profile takes its name from the characteristic Ω‑shape. This geometry provides high stiffness at a relatively low self‑weight. Omega profiles are widely used as carrier and leveling profiles in ventilated façade systems, roof build‑ups and interior constructions, wherever flatness, alignment and load‑bearing capacity are critical.

Our omega profiles are used, among other things, as
  • Leveling and support profiles behind ventilated façades

  • Substructures for sandwich panels and profiled sheets

  • Stiffening and connection of cladding in roof and wall assemblies

  • Detailing profiles around window openings, corners and edge terminations

IPEX omega profiles offer:
  • High dimensional stability and load‑bearing capacity, tailored to professional roof and façade construction

  • Various profile heights, material thicknesses and perforation patterns, compatible with IPEX fastening systems

  • Excellent on‑site workability, optimised for serial installation

  • A perfect fit within the complete IPEX system of screws, brackets, insulation fixings and finishing profiles
