Design of the substructure for WPC and ACP

The design of the substructure starts with the basics: the dimensions, shape, and load of the facade, supplemented by location-specific factors such as wind pressure and mounting surface. Based on this, we develop a custom-made substructure that perfectly fits both WPC composite panels and ACP panels.

High-quality, facade-suitable components are used for both materials—including aluminum profiles, fasteners, and seals. The correct combination of screws, adhesive techniques, ventilation profiles, and anchors is tailored to the type of cladding (WPC or ACP) to guarantee a durable, stable, and watertight installation.

Fixing the substructure: WPC & ACP

Installation begins with placing anchors, seals, and—if applicable—adhesive on the substrate. Then the substructure is firmly and stress-free attached to the building with facade-appropriate screws and profiles.

For WPC, we ensure the substructure allows tolerance for minimal material movement.
For ACP, extra attention is given to flatness, thermal expansion, and stress-free mounting of panels.

Edges, corners, and connections are finished with various types of profiles, such as U-profiles, Z-profiles, or custom aluminum finishing profiles. This creates a neat, uniform, and technically correct finish.
