EPDM strips and profiles
By using EPDM strips, you can make your facade effectively windproof and watertight. EPDM strips are made from a blend of synthetic rubbers, including Diene, Propylene, Monomer, and Ethylene. This composition ensures that the rubber is flexible, waterproof, and easy to work with. EPDM is the ideal material for your roof, gutter, and facade because it is waterproof, UV-resistant, and ozone-resistant. Additionally, with a lifespan of at least 20 years, it is also a sustainable choice.

Why use EPDM strips for facades and cladding?
Besides gutters, EPDM strips can also windproof and waterproof roofs, facades, seams, joints, and connections. These strips are often used as seals when installing roof windows or dormers, but they are also applied between the facade panels and the substructure.
The main reasons why our customers use EPDM Strips include:
Preventing wood rot
Leveling unevenness in wooden framing
Reducing vibrations
Protecting facade panels from acids released by the wood
Acting as a water barrier
Providing a break in contact between elements
Preventing streaks on facade panels caused by moisture removal through the wooden framing
EPDM strips create a durable, flexible, and weather-resistant sealing layer that enhances the longevity and aesthetic quality of the facade.
