Contribution to the Realization of Demerkot in Hasselt

At IPEX-Group, we are proud to have played a crucial role in the completion of the Demerkot project in Hasselt. This project, realized by the architectural firm POLO, developer Kolmont, and contractor Building & Partners, marks the final phase of the development of the student campus at Kapermolenpark. Since its completion in 2023, Demerkot has provided accommodation for 87 student rooms, communal spaces, and a rooftop terrace.
Sustainability and Design: A Harmonious Balance
Demerkot symbolizes sustainability and modern architecture. The building features a concrete base and green profiled panels, combining various profiles and surface textures to create a contemporary appearance. The architects from POLO have maximized the use of the natural surroundings, allowing the building to blend seamlessly with the green environment of Kapermolenpark. The surrounding trees and vegetation were carefully preserved, contributing to the pavilion-like feeling in the park.
IPEX-Group: Invisible but Essential Elements
Our products, though invisible to the naked eye, form the backbone of Demerkot's façade construction. We supplied the following fastening materials:
Alfa Insulation Plugs 8 x 170mm (0436): For the secure and durable attachment of insulation materials.
Alu/Steel Pop Rivets in RAL 6021 (0112): High-quality rivets that contribute to the seamless finish of the façade.
CF MKTB Anchors M12 x 180mm (0405) and CF SA Anchors M10 x 275mm (0660): Essential for the safe and stable anchoring of façade panels.
Coated Screws RAL 6021 (0303): Supplied in size 5.5 x 25mm, matching the green façade cladding.
Installation Tools (0652) and Plug Installation Tools (0674): Specific tools designed to ensure the smooth and efficient installation of fastening materials.
These materials play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and durability of the façade construction, making the building not only aesthetically pleasing but also long-lasting and resilient against the elements.
